Roger La Grenouille

The meal I had at Roger la Grenouille is one of the best meals of my entire life. Andouille Sausage, Veal, Boar Pâté, Escargot in a thin pastry, Creamy Gratin Dauphinois, Delectable Baguettes, Sauces, Savory Sides, and of course… Cuisses de Grenouilles: Frog Legs.

The delicious and humble restaurant sits in the neighborhood known as the Rue des Grands-Augustins in or near the Latin Quarter and is not far from the Seine and is surrounded by squares and beautiful architecture. It’s an old restaurant that’s seen patrons such as Picasso, Popes, and the Queen Mother of England. And of course, myself.

Don’t forget to order dessert! The Paris-Brest is to die for…
