While the hike (3.6 miles roundtrip) to Murphy Point is boring and flat and straight on an old road, the ending viewpoint is an absolute stunner of a view. The lookout area itself is quite large and spans a good bit of the mesa’s cliffside. So, find yourself a spot, relax, reflect, and enjoy the view. You can see the Henrys in the distance, the Green River, Candlestick Tower, Junction Butte, the White Rim Road, The Maze, and all of Soda Springs Basin in front of you.
