The best way to explore the Wichita Mountains is to secure yourself a campsite where you’ll be able to hike, fish, and enjoy the scenery from. Doris Campground offers a ton of spots and is nestled between Quanaw Parker Lake and Little Baldy so bring your hiking shoes and your fishing rods. Although, in the winter, the rivers, streams, and lakes may freeze! Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, and grill and there are pit toilets and even showers available. Heads up! There is no alcohol, beer, marijuana, or drugs allowed at the campsite…
