Lost Creek Trail
The Lost Creek - Children's Discovery Trail in Red Rock Canyon in Nevada is one of the most exciting hikes (.75 miles roundtrip & about an hour long) in the park and features petroglyphs & pictographs, boulders, some shade, a plethora of vegetation, an agave roasting pit site, & if you’re lucky, a waterfall. It also offers great views of the rest of the park, the valley, & distant mountains and desert hills.
If you’re lucky and you’re there at just the right time like after a snowy winter or a raging storm in the mountains, there will be a lovey waterfall landing in a cool pool.
Don’t become another statistic: Bring plenty of water and make sure you’re careful as there are plenty of places to plummet to your death.
