Champ de Mars

The Champ de Mars(7th Arrondissement) is a lovely & long park that sits on the Seine and houses the Eiffel Tower. It’s across the river from the Place du Trocadero and its many museums.

Ignore the Africans selling Chinese made garbage. But don’t ignore the Statue of the Marshall of France during the beginning of the Great War, Marshal Joseph Joffre. He rallied the French against the Germans when they were retreating back to Paris.

Nearby: Military College, Musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, Place du Trocadero, Pont de Bir Hakeim,

Pont de Bir Hakeim is one of my favorite spots in Paris and just below the beautiful bridge is where I asked Kelsea to marry me. They also filmed that scene of the columns from Inception on the bridge.
