The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science is located near the Old Town Albuquerque area of ABQ is very child AND adult friendly. There are tons of dinosaur exhibits, a cave you can explore, Ice Age creature bones, minerals & gems, an active volcano you wind your way through, and so much more. The museum focuses mostly on Dinosaurs and Space which makes it great for everyone but it also covers the inland sea that once covered most of New Mexico as well as the creatures that roamed the landscape after the Dinosaurs went the way of all the earth.
