Granite Mountains

Granite Mountains Natural Reserve houses the 7.9 mile roundtrip Silver Peak Trail that is best to hike in the cooler months. It’s a relatively secluded hike so you’ll no doubt find some solitude while enjoying the incredible views. I ran into some hikers on a different nearby trail who had been there the day before and had seen a bobcat! Be warned though, some of the trail is in a sandy wash which is the worst way to hike.
