Goosenecks State Park is a nice place to see the San Juan River's Goosenecks just below Cedar Mesa, south of Valley of the Gods, and north of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park very near Mexican Hat. You can hike, camp, picnic, and snap plenty of pictures of the amazing landscape that is the Colorado Plateau and the American Southwest.
