Bullfrog

At the bottom of the Notom Bullfrog Road and Highway 276 in the shadow of the Henry Mountains and at the northern end of Lake Powell sits the Bullfrog Marina in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. There’s plenty of house boats, boat ramps, campgrounds, scenic overlooks, and infinite Colorado Plateau possibilities. From the top of the Bullfrog Creek Canyon you can see far below the cliffside, Navajo Mountain, and the Waterpocket Fold to the west.

The NPS Website States: “The National Park Service provides a launch ramp, portable toilet dump station, free boat pump-out station, picnic area, fish cleaning station, and paved landing strip for aircraft. The concessioner, Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas, provides a full complement of visitor services, including: a lodge, housekeeping units, restaurant, gift shop, grocery store, 2 campgrounds (one with hook-ups), laundry, showers, service station, boat rental, and boat repair. There is also a post office in Bullfrog.”
